PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively record and reproduce a TS stream (Transport Stream) on/from a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) at a high speed by eliminating the need of a network I/F and improving a response speed in a BS digital receiver with a PVR device. SOLUTION: The BS digital receiver is provided with: a BS digital receiver body having a BS tuner, a demux, a host, a host memory and a decoder; and the PVR device having an HDD 202 and a CPU 201. A bridge circuit 200 connected directly to a host bus of the host and having a TS stream inputting function 208 and an event transmitting/receiving function 218 is provided at an input port of the PVR device. In the BS digital receiver, the PVR device is composed of the bridge circuit 200, the HDD 202, the CPU 201 and a PVR memory 203 for storing TS streams and programs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
