PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a terminal holding force in a terminal fitting with a metal lance. SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 10 is mounting capably formed to in a resin housing 30. A metal lance 11 elastically locked into a locking portion 34 in the housing 30 to bring the terminal fitting 10 into a slip-off prevented state is cut upward and formed on a bottom plate portion 14 of the terminal fitting 10. This metal lance 11 has a plate-shaped base portion 11A and an extended portion 11B increases a hanging margin for the locking portion 34 when the terminal fitting 10 is pulled in a slip-off direction by being disposed at the leading end portion of the base portion 11A and projected in a thickness direction.
