PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fair game machine capable of making a high-probability state more advantageous and preventing the time lag in the period from when a ball enters a starting hole till the ball reaches a ball detecting means without increasing the control load of a control device even if a plurality of starting holes are disposed in the game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine has a plurality of starting holes and the ball detecting means for detecting that a game ball enters the starting holes. The plurality of starting holes comprise a first starting hole and a second starting hole, and the difference between the period from when a game ball entering the first starting hole till the game ball reaches the ball detecting means and the period from when a game ball entering the second starting hole till the game ball reaches the ball detecting means is set so that the game balls entering the starting holes can be detected by the ball detecting means at least in the order of entrance of the game balls into the starting holes.
