PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing genetic expression, sensitively carried out by using a small amount of a nucleic acid probe, safety because the method is free from use of a radio isotope. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for detection of genetic expression comprising a step immobilizing a probe which contains a first labeling substance and complimentary to the target gene, on a capillary array, a step producing a labeled nucleic acid by reopening an extension reaction by an extension reaction solution to take in a second labeling substance to a nuclei isolated from a cell, a step extracting the labeled nucleic acid, a step hybridizing the probe with the labeled nucleic acid by introducing the labeled nucleic acid into the capillary array, a step decomposing the probe which does not hybridizes by a single chain specific nuclease, a step removing the decomposed product from the capillary array and a step detecting remaining first and/or second labeling substance.
