<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector, in which a focusing time by focusing control can be shortened and the focusing control can be performed within an effective focus position changing range. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: a zoom position detection part 52 to detect the zoom position of a projection lens 431; a changing range-setting part 743 to set a focus position-changing range where a focus position can be changed, from a shortest focus-restricting position where a projected image is in a focused state in the shortest projection distance to a longest focus-restricting position where the projected image is in the focused state in the longest projection distance, at the detected zoom position detected by the zoom position detection part 52; and a manual adjustment control part 741 and an automatic adjustment control part 742 to perform focusing control to change the focus position within the focus position-changing range by driving a focus position-changing part 432A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
