A small sized hinge device for a portable telephone is provided to prepare a cam surface having enough area for smooth operations and provide the minimum shape for linear movement, thereby manufacturing small and slim folder type portable telephone. The small sized hinge device for a portable telephone comprises the followings: a first connection member(60) which is connected to a first unit so as to be rotated together and linearly moves along a rotation axis(100); a second connection member(40) which is connected to a second unit so as to be rotated together; an elastic member(80) which pushes the first connection member towards the second connection member so that the two connection members can be contacted with each other; and a combining member(90) for combining the two connection members and the elastic member. |
