<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which has the convenience enhanced by providing a user with information of the number of color prints and the number of black-and-white prints. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes; an engine 13 having imaged image counters; and a controller 11 having a function of calculating the number of color prints by acquiring imaged image counter information of each toner from the engine 13. Even in the case that counters for the number of color prints are not present in numerical values showing operation results which the engine 13 has, the number of color prints can be calculated by obtaining a maximum value from imaged image counters of each toner except for black toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
