<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which prevents an abnormal image in which horizontal stripes are generated due to an influence of blooming from being taken, only in an imaging condition that a strong light source enters an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device has: a plurality of optoelectric conversion elements arranged in a line form, and a color filter provided on the front surface of the optoelectric conversion elements; a fixed imaging element which performs optoelectric conversion to a subject optical image which has entered to be outputted as an imaging signal; a mechanical shutter means which makes the subject optical image enter the fixed imaging element in an opening state; and interrupts the entering of the subject optical image in a close state and an optical source determining means determining the presence/absence of a strong optical source in the subject optical image. When the optical source determining means determines the presence of the strong optical source upon taking an image of an static image, a dummy frame which does not contribute to exposure is inserted from the time of closing the mechanical shutter means to the time of starting the charge reading of the fixed imaging element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
