<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of outputting image data without distortion even when a distorted image is projected on a CMOS image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An address control circuit 10 outputs addresses (x, y) on the basis of clock input from the outside. An address correction circuit 11 outputs addresses (x', y') in which effects due to lens distortion are corrected, by referring to an address correspondence table after inputting the addresses (x, y). A vertical scanning circuit 13 inputs the address y' outputted from the address correction circuit so as to scan a vertical direction of the CMOS image sensor 15. A horizontal scanning circuit 14 inputs the address x' outputted from the address correction circuit so as to scan a horizontal direction of the CMOS image sensor, and acquires a voltage from a light-receiving element in the CMOS image sensor 15 selected on the basis of the addresses (x', y') so as to output it to an amplifier 16 as an analog signal. The amplifier amplifies the analog signal so that an A/D converter 17 outputs it as image data after converting it to digital data. Image data after distortion correction are outputted from the image pickup device 1 since distortion correction is executed when reading image data from the CMOS image sensor 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
