<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method capable of carrying out high-definition full color printing to a commercial printing sheet, and forming an image excellent in high resolution and image homogeneity. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation method at least includes: an ink imparting step of imparting an ink composition containing at least one of pigments as a color material, at least one of resin particles, at least one of fluorosurfactants and water on a recording medium having one layer or multilayer pigment layer on at least one face on a support containing cellulose pulp as a principal component, and the transition amount of pure water measured by a dynamic scanning liquid absorption meter to a recording medium of 1 ml/m<SP>2</SP>or above and 15 ml/m<SP>2</SP>or below at contact time of 100 ms and also 2 ml/m<SP>2</SP>or above and 20 ml/m<SP>2</SP>or below at contact time of 400 ms by an inkjet method; and a treatment liquid imparting step for imparting a treatment liquid containing at least one of flocculant for flocculating a component in the ink composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
