ELECTROCHEMICAL ANTIGEN DETECTION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SAME AND DETECTION CHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and miniaturized device for detecting an antigen e.g. the antigen of abnormal prion protein by on side diagnosis.

SOLUTION: At the time of detecting the antigen by the enzyme immunity measurement method, by using the substrate to be activated electrochemically when dissolved by the enzyme reaction the electrochemical antigen detection method by measuring the electrochemical response of the activated substrate and the device for the same. The device includes the means for performing the enzyme immunity measurement method, the electrochemically measuring means for measuring the response of the enzyme reaction product performed in the enzyme immunity measuring method, including means composed of e.g. voltammetry or amperometry.
