<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance voltage stabilizing effects of a power source line of a system equipped with an MG unit in which the voltage of a DC power source is boosted with an boosting converter to generate a system voltage in a power source line and to drive an AC motor with the system voltage via an inverter. <P>SOLUTION: A controller for electric vehicle executes system voltage stabilization control to suppress variations in the system voltage by adjusting an input power of the MG units 29, 30 and an output power of the boosting converter 21 so as to reduce the difference ΔVs between a target value Vs* and detected value Vsf of the system voltage. In execution of this control, either one or two or more of the MG units 29, 30 and the boosting converter 21 are selected by using information on the vehicles, MG units 29, 30 and boosting converter 21. The controller executes the system voltage stabilization control by selecting the MG units 29, 30 and boosting converter 21 so as to surely realize a target power control amount Pm* necessary for the system voltage stabilization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
