An apparatus for grinding specimen with pressure control is provided to use selectively a mechanical fixture unit and a magnetic fixture unit according to the material quality of a specimen and selectively mount a heavy material on a jig to supply a suitable pressure to the specimen. An apparatus for grinding a specimen includes a grinding machine and a jig. The grinding machine includes a disc-shape grinding plate(110). A pair of rails(130) are installed at the central portion and the outer portion of the grinding plate. The rails are installed in opposition to each other. The jig includes a body(210) and a fixture unit. The body is formed at the two opposite side thereof with a pair of guide grooves corresponding to the rails. The body slides up and down along the rail. The fixture unit is installed at the lower portion of the body to fix the specimen. The jig selectively receives a plurality of heavy materials such that the load of the body is changed. |
