摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup capable of being freely designed while having satisfactorily high reliability, even with respect to incident light having short wavelength. <P>SOLUTION: An objective lens 6, a collimator lens 5, a beam splitter 4, a wavelength selective diffraction element 20 and a semiconductor laser 30 for two wavelength are linearly arranged mutually facing an optical disk 7 at a prescribed interval and an optical detector 8 for condensing the light reflected from the beam splitter 4 is provided.
