<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a volume required for diluting purge gas, and lower a hydrogen concentration in exhaust gas discharged in the atmosphere below a reference value. <P>SOLUTION: An expansion chamber 37 is provided on piping 36 for purge gas for distributing the purge gas of a fuel cell. An opening/closing valve 38 for purge is provided on an upstream side from the expansion chamber 37, and a dilution valve 31 is provided on a downstream side from the expansion chamber 37. The dilution valve 31 includes an axial valve member 51 and a coil spring 55 inside, wherein the axial valve member 51 can move between an opening position for allowing discharge of water from the dilution valve 31 and a closing position for blocking the discharge of the water from the dilution valve 31, and the coil spring 55 energizes the valve member 51 to the opening position. Offgas is distributed through a first through hole 60 with the valve member 51 moving to the closing position, and the purge gas is joined with the offgas distributing in the first through hole 60 via a second through hole 61, and then is discharged from the dilution valve 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
