PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of an electronic component seal capable of surely jointing the lid with an opening end of an electronic component storage container via optimum amount of a wax material, and to provide the electronic component seal that uses the lid. SOLUTION: Part of a second flow preventive band 13b in a forming region of a wax material layer 12 surrounded by a first flow preventive band 13a and the second flow preventive band 13b for preventing the wax material from wet-spreading is expanded toward the outer rim of the lid 11 so that the area of a region corresponding to a part where the opening end 1a of the electronic component storage container 1 with which the lid 11 is to be jointed becomes partially larger. Thus, since the necessary and sufficient amount of the wax material can spread to the part which is likely to lack the wax material, where the opening end 1a is curved, leakage can be prevented from occurring between the lid 11 and the opening end 1a.
