PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control a pointer by key operation of an existing keyboard. SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus has a display part for displaying the pointer, and a keyboard for operating the pointer. The apparatus has a pointer control calculation part for calculating a moving amount of the pointer on the basis of time between when a first key on the keyboard is depressed and when a second key is depressed and also calculating the direction of the second key when viewed from the first key to determine the direction as the moving direction of the pointer, and a pointer control part for moving the pointer on the basis of the moving direction of the pointer and the amount of the movement.
