PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a security device for preventing the deterioration of security property in the blank period of security even when security is set from a remote place. SOLUTION: This security device 40 having at least two kinds of modes, that is, a security set mode for notifying the abnormality of a security area 31 and a security release mode for not notifying the abnormality, which notifies abnormality when detecting the abnormality in the security set mode is provided with a sensor signal input part 53 for inputting a detection signals from a plurality of crime prevention sensors; a switch part 56 installed in the security area for outputting the change of a contact; an acceptance means 61 for accepting a remote release signal; a release command storage means 54 for storing a release command when the acceptance means 61 receives a remote release signal in the security set mode; and a mode setting means 62 for, when the release command is stored in the security set mode, receiving the detection signal from any of the plurality of crime prevention sensors, and for, when the contact of the switch part changes within a first prescribed time, setting the security state to the security release mode.
