摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation and recovery method of platinum-based materials and its separation and recovery apparatus that are capable of efficiently and surely separating and recovering platinum group materials such as platinum group elements and compounds thereof contained in an acidic solution such as high-level radioactive liquid waste, and of maintaining high separation and recovery efficiency over a long period of time.SOLUTION: The separation and recovery method of platinum-based materials includes a process in which platinum group materials are separated by: supplying an acidic solution 4 containing the platinum group materials to a separation unit 1 with two or more columns 2 which are connected in series and filled with a porous material 3, as a separation material, prepared by using an inorganic polymer as a precursor; and passing the acidic solution 4 through the columns 2. For the porous material 3, a porous material or a combination of porous materials is preferable which is prepared by using an inorganic polymer, as a precursor, comprising at least one of silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide and alumina silicate compounds manufactured by a sol-gel method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
