PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission device having an organic EL element in which a deterioration factor can be prevented from being transferred to an organic layer through a partition wall and an insulation layer.SOLUTION: A light emission part 140 is formed on a substrate 100, and includes a first electrode 110, a second electrode 130 and an organic layer 120. The organic layer 120 is disposed between the first electrode 110 and the second electrode 130. The insulation layer 150 compartments plural light emission parts 140. The partition wall 170 is formed on the insulation layer 150, and separates the adjacent second electrodes 130 from each other. The insulation layer 150 has a groove 156 between a portion adjacent to the partition wall 170 and the light emission part 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
