<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of enhancing sharpness over all the region of an image projected by a projector and also reducing manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an image information input unit 2 for receiving input of source image information; and a sharpness adjusting unit 4 for dividing a screen based on the source image information into a plurality of regions, setting an adjustment value of sharpness adjustment for each of the divided regions and performing sharpness adjustment on each divided region based on the adjustment value, thereby improving sharpness in an edge portion of the image through simple processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
