PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: In using a 3R receiver for regenerative repeating of an incoming signal in an extension PON system, much time is required for optimization of a photoreceiver for receiving a burst signal.SOLUTION: A delay line and a function for exactly detecting burst optical signal intensity are provided for an incoming optical repeater to make an input current into a TIA small and constant. |
