According to an embodiment of the present invention, a manufacturing method of colored mother-of-pearl comprises the following steps of: processing the surface of mother-of-pearl, and generating microcracks on the surface of mother-of-pearl; and coloring the mother-of-pearl by applying a paint mixture liquid to the surface of the mother-of-pearl having the microcracks. The manufacturing method of the present invention easily colors mother-of-pearl, and expresses various colors.
