The invention provides a switch which can inhibit the swing of a sliding switch operation part of a sliding switch and move smoothly. The switch comprises a sliding switch installed at one end of a substrate and works by means of sliding of a handle part along the surface of the substrate, and a sliding switch operation part which is between the end of the substrate and a shell covering the substrate and is capable of moving in the sliding direction of the handle part. The sliding switch is operated by operating and sliding a handle knob exposed from an opening part of the shell. The sliding switch operation part comprises a base body part which is in the shape of a plate and is substantially perpendicular to the surface of the substrate, with one surface arranged along the inner wall of the shell; a handle clamping part arranged on the other surface of the base body part for clamping the handle part, and a substrate clamping part arranged on the other surface of the based body part for clamping the substrate with the handle clamping part. |
