PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a work environment of a face bar cutting process thereby achieving speed-up of a work and an increase of a yield.SOLUTION: Plural rectangular products 16 are cut out from a rectangular face bar 14. A face bar cutting device comprises: a positioner 28 which contacts a first end face 22 and a second end face 24 of the face bar 14 and mechanically decides a direction of each end face and a position of the face bar 14 on a processing table 26; a clamp device 30 which fixes the face bar 14 on the processing table 26; a first cutting device 34 which feeds a cutting blade 32 in one direction along a first cutting plane 35 and divides the face bar into two pieces; a second cutting device 36 which feeds the cutting blade 32 in one direction along a second cutting plane 37 and divides the face bar into two pieces; a cutting position control device 40 which executes a control for moving the positioner 28 on the processing table 26 while seeking for a position of the face bar 14 on the processing table 26; and a cutting order control device 42 which drives the first cutting device 34 and the second cutting device 36 in a prescribed order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
