PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound used for an electron transporting layer of an organic light emitting device to improve the properties of the device, and an organic light emitting device comprising the compound.SOLUTION: The present invention provides compounds comprising an aza-dibenzo moiety and a condensed aromatic moiety having at least three benzene rings, where the condensed aromatic ring has a triplet energy lower than 440 nm and the aza-dibenzo moiety is azadibenzofuran or azadibenzoselenophene.
