PURPOSE:To obtain the titled elastomer having excellent oil resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance, by copolymerizing ethyl acrylate, a specific (meth)acrylic acid ester containing plural ester groups, a crosslinkable monomer and a comonomer in the presence of a radical initiator. CONSTITUTION:The objective copolymer elastomer can be produced by copolymerizing (A) 94.5-50wt.% ethyl acrylate, (B) 5-50wt.% (meth)acrylic acid ester of formula (R<1> is H or methyl; R<2> is 1-8C alkyl or 3-8C alkoxyalkyl; n is integer of >=1) wherein the number-average value of n is 1-10; (C) 0.5-10wt.% crosslinkable monomer and (D) 0-20wt.% monomer such as monovinyl monomer or monovinylidene monomer other than the components A, B and C and copolymerizable with these components, in the presence of a radical initiator. |
