PURPOSE: A mileage payment system and method is provided to offer a customer a minus mileage when the customer purchases a commodity for example, durable goods, without a payment and offer the customer a plus mileage when the customer pays a maintenance fee so that it can reduce or exempt the customer from an initial purchase cost. CONSTITUTION: A mileage payment method comprises the steps of a seller purchases durable goods from a manufacturer and pays the durable goods via a financing organization(S100), the seller receiving a purchase order from a customer(S110), delivering the durable goods to the customer(S120), a payment server of the financing organization receiving a transaction information(S130), the payment server offering a preset minus mileage point, corresponding to the transaction price, to a current accumulated point of the customer(S140), the payment server receiving an information on a maintenance fee payment of the customer(S150) and adding the plus mileage point, corresponding to the maintenance fee, to the current point(S160).
