PURPOSE: A method for monitoring calls of specific numbers in a communication network is provided to allocate calls for monitoring to a switching network or a desired subscriber channel without a specific algorithm, and to make a central processing unit(CPU) check whether a special bit exists in control instructions of higher software. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit(CPU) detects a highest bit, and checks an optional higher control instruction in a search range. If an effective bit having a control instruction exists, the CPU checks a next special bit. If an effective bit does not exist, the CPU re-checks the control instruction of higher software. And if the special bit exists, the CPU enters a route for monitoring. The CPU senses a channel in a first range in a monitoring route, and designates optional group data to set up necessary data. The CPU sets up data of same groups in a second range and a third range, and conference control configuring data according to a next channel, then sets up a call for a monitored object in a tripartite-speech system.
