A melt line (5) has an agitator imparting rotation to the melt. Preferred features: The agitator is inserted into the line and driven to rotate about an axis parallel to the central axis of the line. Drive is supplied by a flexible shaft, at least part of its length being inserted. The rotor has in addition a device conveying the melt, which travels from a source to a sink. The melt source is a pump or extruder and the flexible shaft is connected to a rotating part of the melt source. The agitator comprises bristles or sheet metal strips, forming a brush. The bristles or strips are in screw-like arrangement. The strips are shaped, such that they have a melt-conveying effect. Brush length exceeds its diameter. The melt conveyor is a screw-shaped structure of the flexible drive shaft.
