PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure amounts of various gases, to quickly measure gas components, to require no installation place to be taken into account, and to measure a micro amount of gas components. SOLUTION: This gas concentration analyzer comprises (1) a gas permeable porous tube through which a gas reaction liquid flows, (2) a gas introducing column surrounding the gas permeable porous tube, (3) a means for introducing the gas reaction liquid, (4) a means for introducing light into one longitudinal-directional end of the gas permeable porous tube, (5) a means for collecting light passed through the gas reaction liquid at the other end, and (6) a means for monitoring an absorbance of light. The gas concentration analyzer is used in this gas concentration analyzing method. Analysis is carried out with very high sensitivity and high time resolution. Real time measurement is possible by the compact analyzer because the gas collection and the concentration analysis are carried out in same time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
