摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material with an extremely high gloss which cannot be attained by conventional technologies in details and a method for manufacturing it in relation to the inkjet recording material comprising a pigment and the method for manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording material has at least one lower layer comprising the pigment and a binder, and a surface layer comprising at least one kind of an inorganic fine particle. The inkjet recording material is characterized by that a free end reflective face in an arbitrary visible light region is formed on an interface between the surface layer and the lower layer, a mass compositional ratio of the inorganic fine particle in the surface layer is &ge;70%, a volume mean refractive index n calculated from a raw material constituting the surface layer and a void is &ge;1.41, and the inorganic fine particle with a refractive index of &ge;1.6 is incorporated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
