<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device substantially removing radiation noise or voltage fall generated owing to existence of a high-tension cable. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp supporting device of a light source device is provided with a first heat sink 61, to which an anode part 71 of a discharge lamp 70 is supported and electrically conducted, a second heat sink 62, to which a cathode part 72 of the discharge lamp is supported and electrically connected, a supporting base plate 65 made of an insulation material firmly fixing the first and the second heat sinks 61, 62 at a given interval, a first and a second connectors 63, 64 electrically conducted with and firmly fixed to the first and the second heat sinks 61, 62 respectively, and an igniter 50 equipped with an anode part 53 to which the first connector 63 is firmly fixed and a cathode part to which the second connector 64 is firmly fixed. The anode part 53 of the igniter 50 and the first connector 63, as well as the cathode part 54 of the igniter 50 and the second connector 64 are firmly fixed to each other respectively, in freely attachable and detachable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
