<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a print error to the minimum by preventing an overload state due to a print request from a print requesting device by a print controller, and to execute print as usual even when the disclosure service of the print requesting device is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: A print request including the URL of a print file from a requesting part 112 of a client 110 is received by an accepting part 142 of a print server 140, and the accepted print request is stored in a print request managing part 143. At the time of executing print, a print file is acquired from a print file managing part 115 of the client 110 by an acquiring part 145 based on a print request including the URL managed by the print request managing part 143. When an open service operating in a disclosure service operating part 114 of the client 110 which has made the print request is stopped, a print file is moved to a client 120 in which another open service is started, and the print server 140 is notified of the URL of the movement destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
