<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual contents-type writing utensil member of such a construction that the contents such as a writing utensil ink, a coating liquid, a correction liquid or the like are accommodated in a resin-made writing utensil member such as an ink storage container, an ink storage pipe, a coating liquid container, a coating liquid storage pipe or the like and the contents can be certainly recognized visually from outside, and a writing utensil equipped with this member. <P>SOLUTION: In this visual contents-type writing utensil member, at least the inner surface part, of the resin-made writing utensil member 11, with which the contents come into contact, is treated for activation using at least one kind selected from among treatments such as ozone, air plasma, oxygen plasma, corona, ultraviolet irradiation, high-voltage discharge and acid. After that, a water repellent/oil repellent treatment using a silicone or a fluorine is performed.
