<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing original plate capable of direct plate making by scanning exposure based on digital signals from a computer or the like and having large development latitude and high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing original plate has on a support a recording layer containing a high molecular compound represented by formula (I) and an infrared absorbing agent. In the formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>represent hydroxyphenyl groups different from each other in the site of substitution of a hydroxy group; a=5-40 mol%; b=5-60 mol%; c=5-60 mol%; d=1-20 mol%; and e=5-50 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
