<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a watercourse capable of quickening the liquid flowing in from the surrounding divisions leading from respective divisions in the bottom part of a liquid tank partitioned by structural members to a suction division furnished with a bell-mouth. <P>SOLUTION: The watercourse is formed leading from the respective divisions partitioned by the structural members in the bottom part of the liquid tank to the suction division furnished with the bell-mouth, wherein a bypass line is formed between a certain division and another division not directly adjacent to the first named division so that the two are connected together. Also a bypass line is formed between the suction division and another not directly adjacent thereto and the two are connected together.
