摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system and a desulfurization control method for the exhaust emission control system capable of uniformly removing sulfur poisoning of NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst at a time of desulfurization regeneration control for avoiding deterioration of life due to sulfur poisoning, and preventing thermal deterioration caused by a downstream side of an inside of the catalyst getting locally high temperature for suppressing life deterioration due to thermal deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control system 1 provided with the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst 11 and an oxidation catalyst 12 in an upstream side of the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst 11, and performing desulfurization control for recovering deterioration due to sulfur poisoning of the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst 11, air fuel ratio control for desulfurization is performed after raising exhaust gas temperature and making temperature difference &Delta;TIO between an inlet side and an outlet side of the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst 1 at a time of desulfuization control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
