<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system for an elevator capable of preventing content of data flowing on a transmission line, from being easily stolen. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission control circuit 12 is provided in each of controllers, and a transmission interface circuit 32 thereof has a coding means 9 and a decoding means 10. In the case of transmitting address data or information data as a transmission signal 16 to other controllers, the coding means 9 codes the address data and the information data.
