PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of Evictions by a system controller to prevent performance degradation of a system concerning to the system controller which controls a multiprocessor system. SOLUTION: In the multiprocessor system, the system controller 110 includes a snoop-tag 111 which is copy information of a cache tag 122 which each CPU 120 holds. When the same address in S (shared state) is registered in a cache tag 122 in CPUs 120 connected to the same CPU bus 130, the address is registered in S (shared state) to only one of the snoop-tags 111 corresponding to the CPU 120 to which the same address is registered.
