PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and a measuring device capable of imaging under the same optical conditions keeping a prescribed distance between a work and a light source regardless of the attaching conditions of a work. SOLUTION: A measuring device comprises a clamp mechanism 30 supporting a rod shape work R, an imaging mechanism 35 having an object lens 39 to image the work R from the direction orthogonal to its axis and a light source 34 irradiating a light to the work R. The light source is arranged in the opposite direction of the object lens 39 with the work between in fixed state on the table 32, the distance from the object lens 39 is always kept constant.
