PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a speaker and a magnetic circuit for the speaker. SOLUTION: The magnetic circuit 10 for the speaker comprises: a magnetic 11 which is annular in the plane view and wherein a side face 11a on the inner side and a side face 11b on the outer side have different magnetic poles; a yoke 12 for supporting the magnet 11; and an open magnetic space G formed between the side face 11b (11a) on the outer side or the inner side of the magnet 11 and the surface 12a of the yoke 12 not facing the side face, where a voice coil 2 is to be arranged.
