PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof and dustproof housing of an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: Waterproof walls 41, 42, and 43 are formed at predetermined intervals along the outer periphery of the top face and both side faces of a main body 11 of a case, thereby forming top waterproof grooves 51a and 51b and side waterproof grooves 61a and 61b. In order to enhance the waterproof effect, the top waterproof grooves 51a and 51b are formed deeper than the side waterproof grooves 61a and 61b. The top waterproof groove 51b and side waterproof groove 61b located on the opening end side of the main body 11 of the case are attached with belt-like dustproof packings 50 having a water repellant property, elasticity, and a predetermined thickness. In a case cover 12, a waterproof projecting bar 71 is formed along the top side edge and a top projecting bar 72 is formed on the inside of the top face. The top projecting bar 72 is brought into contact with a side part of the waterproof wall 43 on the case main body 11 side inside the top waterproof groove 51b when the case cover 12 is closed and has its end inserted into the top waterproof groove 51b by a predetermined length and is press-connected to the waterproof packing 50, resulting in having a dustproof effect.
