PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a PDP in which generation of bubbles in an dielectric layer is suppressed by removing an organic component at the time of formation of a bus electrode and lowering of electric resistance of the bus electrode is suppressed. SOLUTION: An activated gas 33 is irradiated for a short time on electrode paste films 14c, 15c of dry condition. Thereby, a resin 32 is decomposed and removed from the electrode paste films 14c, 15c, and electrode resin removed films 14d, 15d with mainly conductive particles 30 and glass frit 31 are formed. Thereafter, the electrode resin removed films 14d, 15d are calcined at, for example, around 400°C-600°C to form bus electrodes 14b, 15b. The glass frit 31 is melted during calcination and becomes a molten glass 31a, which, in turn, binds the conductive particles 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
