PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device capable of performing a write flash processing in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a magnetic disk 9; a flash memory 30; a buffer memory 4 for storing a write command and data supplied from a host system; and a flashing means for classifying write commands stored in the buffer memory 4 into a first command group and a second command group based on the time of writing in the magnetic disk 9, writing data regarding the write command of the first group in the magnetic disk 9, and the write command and the data of the second group in the flash memory 30.
