PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch having advantages of both a slide type switch and a snap action type switch as well as quietness. SOLUTION: The snap action type switch 21 is provided with; a shared fixed terminal 27, a movable terminal 38 connected to the shared fixed terminal 27 with movable contacts 39 and 40, a normally-closed fixed terminal 28 with a normally-closed contact 33 which is normally connected to the movable contacts 39 and 40, a normally-opened fixed terminal 29 which is provided in a position facing the normally-closed contact 33 and with a normally-opened contact 34 which can be connected to the movable contacts 39 and 40, and an energizing member 43 energizing the movable terminal 38 in an opposite direction on reaching a prescribed position. At least one of the normally-closed contact 33 and the normally-opened contact 34 is formed so that the contact can be brought into a mutual sliding contact with the movable contacts 39 and 40.
