<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase power generation amount of a fuel cell by increasing the power generation amount in each cell of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell has a structure in which a plurality of membrane electrode assemblies having an electrolyte membrane and a pair of electrodes arranged interposing the electrolyte membrane are laminated through a separator. The separator is provided with a plurality of reaction gas inlet holes for supplying reaction gas to any one of electrodes out of the pair of electrodes and a plurality of reaction gas exit holes for exhausting the reaction gas supplied to one of the electrodes. The membrane electrode assemblies are arranged so as to be located up to the positions between the plurality of reaction gas inlet holes and/or between the reaction gas exit holes on one face of the separator opposed to the membrane electrode assemblies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
