COOLING FAN DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM, PROJECTOR, PROGRAM, INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COOLING FAN DRIVE CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling fan drive control system that automatically determines an optimum value for a control parameter of a rotation speed of a cooling fan corresponding to a use environment while controlling so as to correct the control parameter corresponding to changes in use environment, and a projector.

SOLUTION: A projector 10 includes a heat-generation temperature detection means 110 for detecting a heat-generation temperature of a lamp 300, a cooling fan drive control means 120 for controlling a rotation speed of a cooling fan 200 on the basis of a deviation between a given target temperature 130 and a heat-generation temperature 112, and a control parameter determining means 150 that determines a control parameter 140 of the cooling fan drive control means 120 on the basis of the target temperature 130 and the heat-generation temperature 112. The cooling fan drive control means 120 controls a rotation speed of the cooling fan 200 on the basis of the control parameter 140 determined by the control parameter determining means 150.
