<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, an image forming method, and program which can simply set a correction value for reducing density unevenness and can correct the quantity of light by little test printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a scanning unit 211 for deflecting and scanning laser light emitted from a laser light source 209, an optical system for guiding the laser light onto a photosensitive material drum, a memory unit 903 for memorizing a plurality of correction patterns for giving a series of correction values for correcting the quality of laser light during one scanning, a selecting unit 902 for selecting the correction group including at least two kinds of the correction patterns of the memorized correction patterns, a switching unit 905 for switching at least two kinds of the correction patterns belonging to the selected group, a correcting unit 214 for correcting the quantity of the laser light during scanning based on the correction pattern switched by the switching unit, and a printing unit for printing a plurality of images formed on the photosensitive material drum on one medium by the laser light corrected by the respective correction patterns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
