PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive improvement of assembly efficiency and reduction of cost by achieving miniaturization and unitization by means of simplification of structure of a photographic lens barrel under a condition that miniaturization of a camera body and high magnification of a zoom lens to be mounted are required. SOLUTION: An inner focus type zoom lens barrel where a plurality of moving lens groups such as a zooming lens group 6 and a focusing lens group 7 are disposed between fixed lens groups installed at both ends uses piezoelectric type linear actuators 20, 21, 30 and 31 as a moving means for the plurality of moving lens groups for varying photographing magnification and adjusting a subject distance. A moving mechanism including the piezoelectric type linear actuators and the plurality of moving lens groups to be internally provided is inserted in a preliminarily assembled state in an outer barrel whose leading end holds one fixed lens group and whose rear end is open from an opening part at the rear end of the outer barrel, and the opening part is sealed with a lens frame holding the other fixed lens group by bayonet system screwing operation, whereby they are integrated to achieve unitization of the lens barrel.
